The Consolidated General Election will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. 

 

WHAT IS ON THE BALLOT?

 

Municipal officials (including village presidents, village clerks and village trustees) will be elected in the Villages of Cutler, St. Johns, Tamaroa and Willisville.

 

In the City of Du Quoin, one city commissioner will be elected to an un-expired two-year term.

 

All school districts will elect members of the board of education.

 

All community college districts will elect trustees.

 

All regional boards of school trustees will elect trustees.

 

Voters in the Village of Tamaroa will vote on a referendum to impose a non-home rule municipal sales tax.
