The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. 

 

WHAT IS ON THE BALLOT?

 

All voters will may vote on a question concerning a call for an Illinois Constitutional Convention.

 

Voters will elect candidates to the following offices:  President and Vice President of the United States, U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress (12th Congressional District), State Representative (115th and 116th Representative Districts), Circuit Clerk, State’s Attorney, Coroner, Supervisor of Assessments, County Commissioner (full term and 2-year unexpired term) and Appellate Judge, 5th Judicial District. 

 

Voters will also vote on questions of judicial retention in the 5th Judicial District and 20th Judicial Circuit. 

 

Voters in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital District and the Village of Tamaroa will vote on referenda affecting these local governments.
